Recently I was walking around on the South part of the Las Vegas Strip and took some photos for you. I had a request to get street level of the City Center, so that was my mission.
Given I was parked at New York New York’s casino, how could I pass up Lady Liberty? She sits right outside the front of the casino right on the Las Vegas Strip.
Of course, I had to get the “Brooklyn Bridge” also! The Brooklyn Bridge is also in front of the New York New York casino and is surrounded by patio. You can get your dinner served to you there from Nine Fine Irishmen and have patio dining.
Across the street from the New York New York is the MGM Grand Casino. The huge statue of the lion is right on the corner surrounded by fountains that shoot up now and then.
Oh, two of my favorite places! Not a good shot of them, but buried behind all those palm trees on the strip is the Coca Cola Store and the M&M Store. Mmm, sugar!
The Las Vegas Strip traffic wasn’t all that bad on this day. The weather was incredible, probably in the 90s and a night breeze was blowing. Yes, the sky really was that clear and blue.
Mission accomplished. A street level photo of the City Center. I have to admit, it is one pretty place! I love the blue of the Aria! Say what you will, make it or not, bizarre or cutting edge architecture, it is one pretty cool spot.
That’s my show and tell for today. I hope you enjoyed this little stroll down the south end of the Las Vegas Strip with me. Soon, I’ll go see some more for you because I am having fun in Vegas, so you don’t have to!
