DESIGNS BY TATYANA® REVEALS NEW CURVE-HUGGING LOOKS FOR RETRO-LOVING FASHIONISTAS AT WWD-MAGIC IN LAS VEGAS

Designer Tatyana Khomyakova of Designs by Tatyana® debuted more than 70 colorful vintage looks from their new collections this week at WWD-MAGIC, the world’s largest fashion tradeshow event at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The brand’s spokesmodel, Playboy Playmate Claire Sinclair surprised event-goers with a Valentine’s Day treat as she made a special appearance and signed autographs on February 14.
In a rare moment, Sinclair encountered burlesque star Tempest Storm at the designer’s booth (#75918) and posed for photos with the legendary pin-up queen, in what Robin Leach of Las Vegas Weekly called “the day a burlesque legend met a modern-day burlesque star.” Las Vegas-based photographer Erik Kabbik captured the moment as crowds started drew in.
The Design powerhouse unveiled new collections at the trade show including two new divisions—Elvgren, inspired by the great American pin-up artist Gil Elvgren, and the highly anticipated retro swimwear line, Beach Bash. The clothing line is a family effort, as founder and lead designer Tatyana and her own son, Art Khomaykov, collaborated on the playful retro beach looks which are slated to hit Bettie Page Clothing stores in April.

In other news, Bettie Page Clothing is gearing up to open a new boutique in March at the elegant Forum Shops located inside Caesar’s Palace. The brand currently has stores at the Miracle Mile Shop at Planet Hollywood on the Strip, plus stores in San Diego, San Francisco, Hollywood, and plans to expand in some of America’s premier tourist destinations including Newbury Street in Boston, Manhattan, the Twin Cities’ Mall of America and in Miami’s South Beach.
Designs by Tatyana®, launched by commercial financier Jan Glaser and Tatyana, blends modern fashion sense with a variety of looks inspired by the style of the 1950s. The recent revival of the classic look has caught the attention of a new generation of glamour girls including Katy Perry, Holly Madison, Christina Aguilera, Denise Richards, Leighton Meester and P!nk.
