Artist Info: A self-taught guitarist, Jake Owen broke onto the country music scene with the 2006 single, “Yee Haw,” which peaked at number 16 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. Owen’s single, “Startin’ with Me,” spent 35 weeks on the Billboard charts, climbing to number six; Owen’s first top-10 hit. Owen’s second album, Easy Does It, featured the singles, “Don’t Think I Can’t Love You,” which reached number two on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart, “Eight Second Ride” and “Tell Me.” In 2011, the title track to Owen’s third album, “Barefoot Blue Jean Night,” climbed to number one on the country charts. Owen has toured with a long list of famous country acts, including Kenny Chesney, Brad Paisley, Little Big Town, Sugarland and Keith Urban.

Artist Info: Through a joint partnership between Vegas Country 95.5 KWNR, Star Nursery and Station Casinos, local kids will have a holiday season filled with plenty of toys. All locals that visit one of the seven Las Vegas Star Nursery locations or the Pahrump Star Nursery and drop off toys for donation to the Children’s Advocacy Alliance, will receive a ticket to the Toys for Tickets All-Star Jam.
After years of touring the club circuit, Jerrod Niemann charted with the single, “I Love Women (My Momma Can’t Stand).” Niemann’s 2010 single, “Lover, Lover,” which was included on his first major-label album, Judge Jerrod & the Hung Jury, climbed to number one on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. The album also featured the single, “What Do You Want,” which peaked at number four on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. In addition to his own music, Niemann has written songs for several country artists, including Garth Brooks, Jamey Johnson, Neal McCoy and Zona Jones, among others.
Runner up on season 10 of “American Idol,” Lauren Alaina’s first single, “Like My Mother Does,” climbed to number 20 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and number 26 on the Hot Country Songs chart. Alaina’s debut album, Wildflower, was released in 2011 and reached number five on the US Billboard 200 chart. The album’s first single, “Georgia Peaches,” reached the top 50 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart.
With five albums certified at gold or platinum, Sara Evans has established herself as one of country music’s top artists. The album, Born to Fly, which achieved double platinum certification, featured the singles, “I Could Not Ask for More,” “Born to Fly,” “Saints and Angels” and “I Keep Looking.” Evans continued her hot streak with the 2003 album, Restless, which debuted at number three on the “Top Country Albums” list and achieved platinum certification. The album’s single, “Suds in the Bucket,” climbed to number one on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart and achieved gold certification. In 2011, Evans released Stronger, which peaked at number one on the Hot Country Albums chart and number six on the Billboard 200 chart.
Josh Turner broke onto the country music scene with his debut album, Long Black Train, which spent more than 40 weeks on the Billboard country charts and achieved gold certification. Turner’s second album, Your Man, achieved platinum certification and the album’s first single, also titled “Your Man,” climbed to number one on the Hot Country Songs chart. The album garnered Turner Grammy nominations for “Best Male Country Vocal Performance” and “Best Country Album.” Turner’s fourth studio album, Haywire, featured the single, “Why Don’t We Just Dance,” which climbed to number one on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. Turner is expected to release his fifth studio album in 2012.
Signed to his first songwriting deal at the age of 17, Brent Anderson is one of country music’s up-and-coming artists. In 2011, Anderson’s debut single, “Amy’s Song,” reached number 52 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. The single featured backup vocals from Vince Gill and sampled Pure Prairie League’s 1973 hit “Amie.”

Making up half of the country duo, Blue County, Scott Reeves is known for the hit songs, “Good Little Girls” and “That’s Cool.” In 2011, Reeves co-wrote Toby Keith’s single, “Made in America,” which reached number one on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. A veteran of daytime soap operas Reeves starred in “The Young and the Restless” from 1991-2001 and currently stars in “General Hospital.”
After writing her first song at the age of 10, Danielle Peck released her debut single, “I Don’t” in 2005. Peck’s eponymous debut album peaked at number 23 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart and produced the singles, “Findin’ a Good Man” and “Isn’t That Everything,” both of which reached the top 30 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. Peck’s 2007 single, “Bad For Me,” once again climbed to the top 50 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart.

The single, “Family Man,” which Shewmake co-wrote with Craig Campbell, reached number 14 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. In 2011, Shewmake co-wrote the song, “Toothbrush,” which appeared on Brad Paisley’s gold certified album, This is Country Music. Throughout his already successful career, Shewmake has worked with artists, including Craig Campbell, Craig Morgan, Montgomery Gentry and Brad Paisley.

The album, which reached number one on the Top Country Albums chart, featured the Patsy Cline single, “Blue.” Rimes’ sophomore album, You Light Up My Life: Inspirational Songs, once again achieved multi-platinum certification and featured covers of classic inspirational songs and the single, “How Do I Live,” which reached number two on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Rimes’ subsequent albums, Sittin’ on Top of the World and LeAnn Rimes, both reached platinum certification. Thomas’ 1976 album, Home Where I Belong, was the first of several gospel albums recorded by Thomas and achieved platinum certification. Artist Info: Presented by Bonkerz Comedy Productions, Louie LOL at the Louie Anderson Theater is a family-friendly show where guests can catch the esteemed headliner in his intimate showroom. A two-time Emmy award winner, Anderson recently celebrated his first anniversary at Palace Station in Las Vegas and continues to be one of the country’s most recognized and adored comics. The comic’s material relates stories about growing up in the Midwest, being one of 11 children and dealing with an alcoholic father. Anderson constantly introduces new material to keep the comedy timely.

Artist Info: Legendary comedian Marty Allen got his start in the comedy world performing at nightclubs while going to college during the day. It became so lucrative for him, that he eventually quit college to pursue comedy fulltime. It was shortly thereafter that he became part of the popular ’50s comedy duo Allen and Rossi with fellow comedian Steve Rossi. Together, the two toured the country, released several hit comedy albums, performed more than 40 times on the “Ed Sullivan Show” and starred in the comedic film “The Last of the Secret Agents.”
